After high school, a stint in the service and a short career in banking I opened a florist and gift shop in Northeast New Jersey, not far from downtown New York. For 22 years I designed floral arrangements for many brides, moms, corporate parties and holidays. People, like flowers come in many shapes, colors and sizes, my jewelry designs have that same concept. We are all equal but we are not identical. Balance is what I seek to create in my earrings, necklaces and bracelets. I sculpt, twist and manipulate sterling wire and add semi-precious stones, crystals, glass from the Czech Republic and sterling and gold fill beads to create each earring which is not the same for each pair. Each pair of earrings is unique just like us. I name many of them such as cotton candy, anniversary, geometry and “not Kansas” (they’re emerald green). I am often asked if I am an engineer or a math teacher because of the forms my jewelry takes. There are some who cannot wear my designs because they “don’t match” but there are many more who believe they need a little balance in their lives. All of my designs can be customized for each wearer. Colors, choice of stones and styles are created for you to enjoy and feel balanced as well. Pendants and bracelets can also be added if you like sets. Wear them in good health. |
